How to exchange BTC

Since the cryptocurrency market has a highly volatile nature, Changelly has introduced two types of exchange. A user can exchange BTC and altcoins at either floating or fixed rates. The former means that the final amount of exchanged crypto might vary due to the market movements. On the contrary, fixed-rate means the amount of the exchanged BTC will remain the same regardless of the market conditions. Exchange BTC and other cryptocurrencies with just several clicks.

To exchange Bitcoin on Changelly, you need to sign up for an account and choose an exchange trading pair, for example, ETH/BTC. Don’t forget to select the exchange rate at which the coins will be swapped (floating or fixed exchange rate). An approximate amount of exchanged Bitcoins, along with the estimated arrival time and commission fees, will be reflected in the exchange window.

The next step is to enter your Bitcoin address to which the coins will arrive and submit the transaction. Once done, your newly exchanged BTC will be reflected in your wallet approximately within 30 minutes.

About

What Is Bitcoin?

Bitcoin is the first and the most well-known cryptocurrency. A decentralized Bitcoin payment system and the cryptocurrency itself were introduced in 2008 by an anonymous person (or a group of people) behind the name of Satoshi Nakamoto. In 2009, the first (genesis) Bitcoin block was mined. Since then, the crypto industry has started to evolve rapidly. Bitcoin gave birth to over 10 popular cryptocurrencies, including Litecoin (LTC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Bitcoin Gold (BTG), and many others. As of today, there are over 3,000 crypto assets on the market, and the number is growing.
