Cardano Paper Wallet

You can store your ADA coins on a paper wallet, which is a safe and free way to store your keys, although less convenient than hardware wallets. One of the ways to create Cardano paper wallet is on Daedalus wallet. Here are 5 steps to take:

  1. Order a printout of a paper wallet in the Daedalus program.
  2. The wallet generates a 27-word key.
  3. The wallet generates a PDF that lists 18 words out of 27
  4. You print or just save the file, after which the program shows you the other 9 words, which you should enter manually.
  5. After that, the app may ask you to enter all 27 words for verification. Then it shows the wallet address and a link to it in the blockchain explorer.
