We are thrilled to announce that we have listed Curve Dao, or CRV, – the in-house token of a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) created by Curve. From now on, users will be able to exchange this token on our platform at floating rates.
Curve.fi is a decentralized stablecoin exchange launched in 2020 that uses an automated market maker to manage liquidity. The protocol was created and designed to make it easier for users to swap between ERC-20 tokens (mainly stablecoins) and Ethereum-based BTC tokens.
DAO, a decentralized autonomous organization created by Curve, uses an Ethereum-based creation tool called Aragon to connect multiple smart contracts used for users’ deposited liquidity. However, the platform handles things like governance differently from Aragon – CRV can be locked for various periods of time in order to vote on governance and claim protocol fees as a reward.
Curve.fi is one of the most reliable and innovative stablecoin exchanges on the market. As DeFi continues to grow, so will Curve. This listing has been much-awaited by our community, and we are glad to finally be able to give our users access to CRV.
