How to sell

Changelly provides its users with the selling feature via our partner, Mecuryo. Follow these simple steps to withdraw crypto to your bank card: 

1. Go to our main page, choose the sell option, and then you will be redirected to the Mercuryo website. 
2. Choose the amount of crypto you want to sell, choose the fiat currency you want to get, and agree with the Terms of Service.
3. Select your phone code region and fill in the phone number. You will get the verification code. If you don’t get the code, you can try to resend it in 20 seconds.
4. Fill in the email address. You will get the verification code in your email. Fill it in to confirm the address. If you don’t get the code, check your Spam folder.
5. Fill in the personal information. Mercuryo requires your name and date of birth (as in your ID).
6. Deposit cryptocurrency. Before withdrawing any cryptocurrency to your bank card, you need to send it to the Mercuryo wallet address. Please, choose the wallet according to the cryptocurrency you want to deposit. If you send your coins to the wrong wallet, the cryptocurrency will be lost forever.
7. Fill in payment information. You will be required to fill in the card number, cardholder’s name and then click Sell on this page. Mercuryo supports Mastercard virtual or physical cards. When you click the ‘Buy’ button, Mercuryo holds 1 EUR to confirm your payment information. 
8. Fill in your refund address. If something goes wrong, Mercuryo needs your refund address to send the money back. 
9. Go through the KYC procedure. When you complete the KYC, Mercuryo sends the fiat to your bank card. 
10. Your transaction is completed!

You can make crypto-to-fiat transactions using your Visa or Mastercard bank cards, Google Pay and Apple Pay. 

Minimum transaction value is 0.002 BTC / 0.03 BCH / 0.03 ETH / 70 BAT / 5 USDT / 50 ALGO / 2 OKB / 600 TRX / 10 DAI / 5 eGLD.

If you withdraw cryptocurrencies for the first time, you will be asked to go through the KYC process. Once it is completed, you are not required to fill in your personal details again.

The minimal fee for crypto-to-fiat transactions is 3.95%. The final fee depends on the selected currency pair, your country of residence, market rates, volatility and other factors. You can see the fees for a certain transaction on the processing screen before payment. To see it choose the currency pair and your country of residence on the “Sell” page. After that you’ll see the estimated amount you’ll get and the fee for your transaction.

Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) is a payment integration initiative of the European Union to simplify bank transfers denominated in euro. SEPA enables customers to make cashless euro payments to any account located anywhere in the area, using a single bank account and a single set of payment instruments.

The conversion exchange rate gets locked automatically after one confirmation on the blockchain.

The average time for Mercuryo transactions is up to 40 minutes. That includes 10 minutes verification and up to 30 minutes for the transaction processing. However, some delays are possible.
