Withdrawal
How do I withdraw funds?
If you want to withdraw your funds, please open the âWalletâ tab. In the âWithdrawâ column, you can see a withdrawal button for each asset.
Before withdrawing, check whether the coin youâd like to withdraw is stored on your trading or main account. If itâs on your trading account, you should first transfer the funds to your main account if needed. After that, click the âWithdrawâ button.
Enter the withdrawal amount. Please note, there shouldnât be more than 8 characters after the decimal. Otherwise, your request wonât be processed. Then enter the destination address into the âAddressâ field. Check all the details before confirming your withdrawal accurately. Once the funds are withdrawn, you wonât be able to reverse the operation.        Â
Note: If you face any issues when withdrawing your funds, address the Troubleshooting section.
Attention! Your withdrawal amount should be higher than the withdrawal fee amount. You can see the fee amount right under the âAmountâ field.
Some cryptocurrencies and receivers (wallets, exchanges, etc.) require additional destination identifiers to successfully perform a transfer. For example, some services will provide you with an address AND a Payment ID (or memo, message, destination tag – depending on the asset).Â
So, to successfully receive your XRP after withdrawal, youâll need to specify both your XRP address AND your destination tag. Some XRP addresses donât require the additional tag, though. You should check whether itâs needed at the receiving service. Please make sure that you’ve specified both correctly before confirming your withdrawal. If the destination account doesn’t require a Payment ID, just leave this field empty.
After that, youâll be asked to enter your authentication code (if you enabled 2FA) and then you should click the âWithdrawâ button. Then youâll see the following notification, âPlease confirm this withdrawal via email.âÂ
Check your email and open the message from Changelly PRO with the âWithdrawal confirmationâ subject. Please carefully check all the details regarding your withdrawal in this message (the amount and the destination address) and click the confirmation link, if all the details are correct.
Congratulations! Youâve successfully initiated your withdrawal. You can now track your withdrawals on the Reports page, the âDeposits and Withdrawals Historyâ section, or on your Wallet page, in the âLatest transactionsâ section at the bottom.           Â
While the funds are being withdrawn, there will be a blue circle and a red cross icon displayed on the right in the row corresponding to your withdrawal. The red cross icon is a cancel button, and it will disappear after the transaction is broadcast to the blockchain. Once the withdrawal is completed, the blue circle near your withdrawal request will be replaced with a green mark.
If you face any issues with your withdrawal, please submit a ticket to our support team.Â
What is a withdrawal whitelist?
This is a list of addresses to which you can withdraw any funds from your account. It wonât be possible to withdraw your funds to an address out of this list.Â
Enabling the Whitelist
First, you should enable the whitelist and set it up. Open the Settings, then the Whitelist tab. Click on âEnable Whitelistâ and confirm this action via email.      Â
After confirmation, youâll have 12 hours to add all the necessary addresses to the Whitelist.
Note: In case you add a second address for the same asset before 12 hours are passed, the withdrawals from your account will be automatically suspended for 48 hours for security measures.
12 hours later, your Whitelist with all the addresses you added will be enabled and locked, and you will be able to withdraw your coins to the whitelisted addresses only. Please note that even withdrawals to the whitelisted addresses require confirmation via email.Â
Adding a new address
You can add a new address to your Whitelist at any time. Open the Settings, then open the Whitelist tab and click the âAdd Newâ button. Choose a coin, enter a custom name and a correct address, and click âConfirm.â       Â
Note: if the wallet address youâre adding requires a Payment ID (memo, message, destination tag, etc.), you need to add it to the corresponding field as well.Â
Youâll need to confirm this action via email. Just follow the link youâll receive to your email right after the new address is added.Â
Note: After you add a new address to the Whitelist, all withdrawals from your account will be suspended for 48 hours. Youâll see a corresponding notification on the âWalletâ page. This is a security measure for the safety of your funds.Â
Disabling the Whitelist
Open the Settings page, then open the Whitelist tab and click the âDisable Whitelistâ button. Then youâll need to confirm this action via email.   Â
Note: Once you disable your Whitelist, all withdrawals from your account will be suspended for 48 hours. Youâll see a corresponding notification on your Wallet page. This is a security measure for the safety of your funds.Â
Important! You wonât be able to withdraw your funds in such cases as:
- Youâre trying to withdraw your funds to an address that isnât added to your Whitelist.
- You disabled your Whitelist less than 48 hours ago.
- You added a new address to your Whitelist less than 48 hours ago.
- You added a second address for the same asset during the first 12 hours after your Whitelist was enabled.
Attention: If you receive a confirmation email regarding any action related to your Whitelist, but you didnât make any amendments to it, it means that your Changelly PRO account could be compromised. In this case, please contact our support team via the ticket form. If your Whitelist is enabled, you have at least 48 hours to do so.Â
Withdrawal fees
Changelly PRO withdrawal fees are fixed. It means that they donât depend on the withdrawal amount. However, the fees can be changed by our team depending on the market situation and the network workload to ensure the high speed of transaction processing.
You can check what the current withdrawal fees are in the âWithdrawalâ column of the âWalletâ tab.Â
What is transaction hash?
Transaction hash (txid) is a combination of letters and numbers used to uniquely identify a particular blockchain transaction. A transaction hash usually looks like a random set of letters and/or numbers.
This is an example of a Bitcoin transaction hash:Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â
f5c35d081cc958f0999cf0f7a5e5e9f465f18c346640626555f1129f02f5ce60Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â
The hash can be used to locate a transaction in the blockchain and to check all the transaction details.
Where can I find my transaction hash?       Â
The hash can be found in the transaction history section of the service (wallet, exchange platform, etc.) you used to perform a certain transaction. If you canât find your hash in the history, we recommend you to contact the support team of the service and ask them for assistance.            Â
If youâre looking for the hash of a certain deposit or withdrawal on Changelly PRO, you should open the âWalletâ tab and scroll down to the âLatest transactionsâ section on the bottom of the page. The hash can be found, if you click the â?â button next to the status column of a particular operation. You can also find the hash on the âReportsâ tab. The hashes can be found in a separate column on the right.Â
Just click on the hash to open your transaction in a blockchain explorer.            Â
Please take into account that the IDs in the âIDâ column, which look like this
mpl4h8hj2-671b-89m4-r8jk-5klw907n4a2t
are not transaction hashes. These are Changelly PRO internal transaction identifiers. You wonât be able to find any relevant information with this ID in a blockchain explorer.Â
